Who writes this
Tapewatch is an independent editorial desk covering one narrow subject: how Pocket Option trading setups are built, what they assume about a market, when they stop working, and how to test them on a practice account before any money is involved. We are not Pocket Option, we are not affiliated with it, and we hold no client funds, take no deposits and place no trades for anyone.
The editor responsible for this site is Bryony Castellane, Trading Strategy Editor. Where we quote a platform rule, it comes from a document you can open yourself: the operator's public offer, read on 2 August 2026.
What we deliberately do not publish
- No win rates. This desk holds no trading account and has placed no trades, so any hit rate, accuracy figure or profit claim printed here would be invented.
- No backtest results. We have run no tests. Where a page describes testing, it describes how you would run one yourself and read it honestly.
- No borrowed platform figures. Payout percentages, minimum amounts and indicator inventories are not published by the operator, so they are absent here rather than guessed at.
- No warning content. This is not a complaint site. Where a subject carries genuine risk, such as automated trading or paid signal groups, we describe the mechanism and quote the terms rather than raising an alarm.
What you get instead
Every method here is described by construction: the conditions it needs, what it quietly assumes, and the market state in which it fails. That is slower to read than a list of ready-made setups, and it is the version that still makes sense in six months, when conditions have changed and the ready-made setup has stopped working.
The arithmetic we do publish is arithmetic anyone can reproduce, above all the break-even hit rate implied by whatever payout your own screen shows. Every claim you meet afterwards, including on this site, can be measured against that one number.
Short-horizon trading carries a real risk of losing the money you commit, and the operator's own agreement records that the client assumes that risk and that it is not covered by state insurance. Nothing here is financial advice. Read how links pay us, and talk to the desk if you find something wrong.
